College Credit: MN West Articulated credit is available for grades 11 & 12 only

Foods I & II are comprehensive foods courses to teach students food preparation techniques, nutrient value, appetite appeal, social significance, and cultural aspects of food.  Students will select, prepare, and eat delicious foods from America and around the world while becoming aware of related consumer skills. Industry-ready skills will be a main focus. ServSafe Certification will be part of this course. Prostart options for those interested in a career in the culinary profession are available – see below.
