Native American History is a course that focuses on the pre-European Americas, both South and North. This course attempts to demonstrate an understanding of how the Americas were before the arrival of European settlers. This includes, but is not limited to, the examination of Native peoples themselves, Native American religion/origin stories, how Native American tribes differed from other varying Native American groups, and the context of Native American cultures/demeanors based on a culturally relevant viewpoint.Â
