FACS FOR THE OUTDOORSMAN II - **New Course**

Elective for students Gr. 10, 11, 12

Prerequisite: FACS for the Outdoorsman I

Duration: Traditional semester

Explore what types of fabrics/textiles are used in the clothing of outdoor gear when participating in activities like hunting, fishing, skiing, and other outdoor activities.  Students will construct/sew a project that will be used when outdoors.  Build skills with foods that can be prepared safely in an outdoor setting, including grill, smoker, griddle, and woodfire-type techniques. Become a wise consumer to prepare yourself for a lifetime of your favorite outdoor activities.
