Anatomy is a chance for upperclassmen to take their life science knowledge a step further as it relates to the human body. The relationship between the structure and function of the body systems is the main emphasis of this course. First Semester deals with learning the basics of the human body including the anatomical terms and planes of the body. Tissues are next followed by the muscular and skeletal systems. Second Semester covers the remaining body systems by continuing the format of interactive labs, class work, and field trips. A field trip to the SDSU Cadaver lab will take place in April/May. You must take the full year of anatomy to attend the Cadaver Lab field trip.
