This course will focus heavily on the principles and practices of disseminating knowledge and information related to the agricultural sciences, environment, and natural resources utilizing the field laboratories under the management of the RTR agricultural education department. Communication concepts, technology, and presentation skills that will help agricultural, food and natural resource professionals communicate effectively will be developed and practiced throughout the course. Project-based planning, and relying on experiential learning, will allow students hands-on, real-time management decisions that will impact their peers and RTR students to come. Supervised agricultural experience, The Agricultural Experience Tracker, and FFA will be heavily integrated.
