In ProStart I, the topics of study include culinary techniques, cooking and baking skills, kitchen organization and management, professionalism, use of commercial equipment, food and workplace safety, and business/kitchen math. Students will obtain skills to learn industry-recognized certifications and develop the knowledge and skills necessary for a successful career in the food and hospitality industry. This course provides experience focusing on the foodservice and hospitality industry.Â
