The U.S. History course will cover North American history from pre-Columbian times to the present, with special attention/focus on the years after 1865. Historical events such as the American Revolution and founding era and the Civil War will be reviewed but the main emphasis will be placed on Reconstruction, Westward Expansion, Industrialization, Becoming a World Power, the 1920s, The Depression, WWII, The Cold War, Vietnam, the 1980s, The War on Terror, current affairs and future possibilities.
