This course is focused study with actual hands-on skill building in the field of welding. It will be a fast paced course with focused laboratory practice time to utilize the techniques and skills developed in Metal Fabrication & Welding I & II. Arc, MIG, Oxy/Acetylene welding and cutting, plasma cutting, TIG and the Plasma CAD Cam equipment will be used for students to design and construct their own projects. An emphasis will be placed on the development of orderly and safe lab procedures. Supervised agricultural experience, The Agricultural Experience Tracker and FFA will be integrated, as appropriate throughout. Offered concurrently with Metal Fabrication & Welding I & II.
