There is an element of religion in 2/3 of my works; the ring on my ring finger is a special ring you get after completing a personal retreat; the third image is a rosary. The house exterior is the house I live in Durham, ME. Religion is important to me and I wanted to convey that in these images. I also have never drawn my own house before, so I thought that would be interesting.

I only used a graphite 2B pencil for these on regular drawing paper. First, I sketched out the general design of each of the objects. Then I went over the sketches with stronger and darker lines and finally erased the old, light sketch marks. I was originally going to do the outside of my barn, but I thought that it didn't have enough lines or detail, so I decided to do my house instead. If I were to do more, I would probably add a little bit of color and/or darken the lines because they're still a little light.
