DESCRIBE:
The subject of this image is the color throughout the image. The setting is the pink toned sky in my backyard. To create this image, I waited for the sun to start setting and captured it as there were many colors in the sky. I chose this image because I knew this would allow for different tones of color once I edited it. I also knew that the tree branches would form little spaces in between them that show many shapes. This allowed the color to show more. To edit this image, I used an app called LightroomCC and added a pink tone and then enhanced the tint and vibrance to maximize the color effect.
ANALYZE:
This image shows the composition grouping. The trees are all grouped together to form a unity in many different areas in the image. Originally, I was going to have this image with a blue tone. Then, I started to think about how the sunset colors are warmer like reds and oranges so I went with a hot pink tone to match them.
EVALUATE:
The meaning of this image is to show the light that is shining through. The space that the trees create in between them allows for the sunlight to shine through from behind. I like to go outside a lot in the mornings to look at this landscape. I'll take my dogs out in the morning just to look at this landscape. I've always enjoyed seeing the different colors shine through the gaps in the trees. I think the image could be stronger if the basketball hoop was not in it but the clone stamp on photoshop wouldn't do the job of removing it. In the future, I would try to find a different way to remove it from the image.
