Pet's Eye View

Artist Statement: For this assignment, we had to take photos that had a different perspective than what a person typically sees. In this photo, it would be considered "ant's eye view" on the list of compositional techniques. I completed my roll of film and developed it. After that I made a test strip. I set the aperture level to F11 and I cut the film into strips and made a test strip by doing two second increments of exposing the paper to light while covering up less of the film each time. After that, I made my contact sheet by putting the film on a piece of paper and exposing it to light for 11 seconds. I chose my favorite photo and put it under the light and exposed that on a new piece of paper for 11 seconds. Above it the final print.
