Artist Statement: For this assignment, we were supposed to take pictures of things that had reflections or shadows. I took pictures of things like windows, water, and many other things. After I took the photos, I developed the film and once it was ready, made a test strip. I set the aperture level to F11 and I cut the film into strips and made a test strip by doing two second increments of exposing the paper to light while covering up less of the film each time. I then made the contact sheet. To do this, I placed the film on a piece of darkroom paper and exposed the light on it. After I exposed the paper with light for 6 seconds, I developed it. I then chose which photo I thought looked the best and met the criteria. After that, I put the film under the light, into the machine and shined the light on the paper for 6 seconds. I developed it with the chemicals, let it dry, and that was my final print.
