Artist Statement: To start off, when I took these photos I set my camera in a place so it wouldn't move. I then set a timer and took multiple photos with the person/me in different positions in different places. I then put the photos in photoshop and set the pixel resolution to 220. After that I put the photos on top of each other and made a duplicate of the background. I simplified all the layers and then erased the part where a person was on the opposite photo. Due to the fact that the background hadn't moved, it was very simple because I didn't have to outline the person perfectly. This caused both people to be seen at once, creating the "multiplicity" effect.
