Portrait Transformation

Artist Statement: For these photos, I used photoshop. In the top one, I changed the pixel resolution to 220 for both and then placed them on top of each other. I then played around with the blending mode to see what looked best son you could tell what looked best. I then erased the background of the portrait so all you could see was her face. Then I flattened the image into one and it was complete. For the second photo, I also changed the pixel resolution to 220 and put them on the same layer. Then I put a gradient layer on both so they were black and white. I messed with the blending mode and then erased the background of the portrait and most of the waterfall that wasn't inside his face. Then I flattened the image and it was done.
