Glass/Transparency

DESCRIBE:

The subject of this image is transparency through the window. The setting is my dog's reaction to me coming home. All I did after capturing the image was put it in black and white to bring out the trees more. I chose to create this image because as soon as I saw my dog and the reflection of the trees, I saw a perfect image. I liked the balance of seeing my dog and also the trees at the same time all in one space.

ANALYZE:

This image shows sharp focus because my dog and his features are brought out clearly. Originally, I was going to leave the image in color but once I put it in black and white, I realized it emphasized the trees and my dog more.

EVALUATE:

The meaning behind this image is to show my dogs love for his owner. I had been gone for most of the day and every time we come home, the dogs are looking right out the door ready to greet us. This image really captured his excitement. I think the image would be a little stronger if more of a landscape was included in the back.
