Faith is a important quality for people who lead social change. Dictionary.com says “Faith means a system of religious belief’’. Faith is the same as loyal. People can use faith when ever they want. Faith to me is a empowering quality because it helps a lot of people.Jackie Robinson shows faith when his brother dies show faith when he does his speech and I show faith in my life as well. Faith helps Jackie Robinson and I have power to change the world.
The leader that demonstrates faith is Jackie Robinson. In the speech “This I Believe” this is what Jackie Robinson said, “And in the largest sense I believe what was done for me that it was my faith in God that sustained me in my fight”. He also said, “ Also it would have been impossible for me to fight at all except that I was sustained by the personal belief and deep rooted belief that my fight had a chance.” These quotes show Jackie’s belief because he always had faith in God that he could make the world better. The change Jackie Robinson helped break was the color barrier he had to have faith because he helped us bring the world together.
I see this quality in myself because like when times are hard I need to be faithful that everything will workout. I need this quality in my life because I need to be faithful. I go to church on the weekends every sunday. My evidence is when my great grandmother passed away I was devastated and I need faith to stay strong. I could change the world by saying it is ok to be a believer in god and you should not be ashamed of that.
The font and color is for my yard sign in the courtyard. I chose cambria because it felt like very put together and I feel like that is very bold and I think faith is very bold. For my color I chose the light pink because it is very calm and I think faith is very calm.
Jackie Robinson shows faith when he does his his speech and I show faith in my life as well. Faith helps Jackie and I have more power. This quality is important because a lot of people believe in God just like Jackie Robinson. This quality relates to local leaders and social change because a lot of of people use faith to help them believe in there social change by being faithful that the social change will work. This matters because this is a lot of people's belief and a lot of peoples source to a better life.
