People who are Resolute have important role in social change. The meaning of resolute is being a strong person and having a good personality. Being determined is similar to being resolute. I chose Harper Kaufman, a farmer, as my local leader because she is resolute and I am too.

Harper Kaufman shows resoluteness by being her own boss and works hard through all seasons. In the GlenX video: Harper Kaufman Two Roots Farm/GlenX Career Expo Spring 2018 it says, “I get to be my own boss which means I work really hard to make sure I get to make my own schedule and you know we work really hard in the spring and through the fall”. This explains that she is resolute spring summer and fall. Harper Kaufman is very resolute because she is her own boss because she is determined to work on her farm three months even if she doesn't want to.

I am also resolute because I am determined to try to do my best . One example of me showing resoluteness is when I was in 4th grade during field day. I tried my best on tug of war and the girl side won. Something else I try in is soccer An example of this was when we were in New Castle we won a game, and our score was 2-5.

I had to make decisions about my yard sign. The reason I picked Arial as a font because the font is original and I don’t like crazy overwhelming kinds of fonts. The reason I picked the color was because there are my favorite color and the blue represents that sometimes I am sad and those times I am determined to be happy. The purple represents that I am bright and happy.

Being Resolute is very important for people who have a role in social change. People how show resoluteness don’t give up and if you are trying to make social change you don’t want to give up. Harper Kaufman and I share the quality of being resolute.
