Being compassionate is an important characteristic for people who lead social change. Compassion means that you help others. Showing compassion is similar to nice, but is different because compassion is helping them. Eloisa Duarte is a director of the parent mentor for the Valley Settlement program.Eloisa Duarte knocks on woman’s doors to volunteer for being a parent mentor in the schools. She shows compassion when she does her work. I show compassion by helping friends in school.Caring for others helps Eloisa Duarte and I become more compassionate.

Eloisa Duarte demonstrates compassion because she is nice to others. She shows compassion because she is always nice to other adults and kids. Eloisa Duarte says, “I have a deep love and passion and compassion for my community. My goal is the families now. I have been learning how important it is when some member of the family comes out and belongs to our community. I clearly know the impact of these families.” (PostIndependent Sunday Profile: your life will be changing in a little bit by Randy Essex May 14, 2015) this quote to me means that Eloisa Duarte is compassionate about helping family and community.

I see myself showing compassion.I help others by trying to help them with work if they don’t understand it. I also show compassion by not saying mean things to people.I also show love to my family and friends.

I designed my campaign sign. I chose a pink as my font color for my word. I chose that color because it looks like a color for people who are nice to others, it shows love too and love is a part of being nice to someone. I chose Lobster as my font type because it looks like a type of cursive and the cursive shows how great of a person you are for being nice.

The quality Compassion is important because it shows people how to be more nice and loving towards others. This matters because it is important to help our world.
