People who lead social change often show enthusiasm for what they are doing for their community. Enthusiasm means having or showing intense and eager enjoyment, interest, or approval. Showing enthusiasm is similar to happy , but is different because in the dictionary it says that happy is feeling or showing pleasure or contentment. Sarah Uhl, a local artist, uses wonder. Wonder means a feeling of surprise mingled with admiration, caused by something beautiful, unexpected, unfamiliar, or inexplicable.This enthusiasm and wonder helps Sarah Uhl and I become a better artist and a better friend to help the world.

Sarah shows wonder. She loves the wilderness and wants to save the world and loves to draw and she also likes riding her bike. When Sarah uses wonder is when she is drawing. She likes to wonder what she will be drawing, but she knows it will be about nature. In an article in REI Sarah Uhl Illustrator Adventurer by Chris-Van-Leuven, it says that “Uhl has identified as an artist her whole life, but only recently has she found her niche by expressing herself in the outdoor industry, she tells REI during a morning walk along the banks of Clear Creek above the town of Golden, Colorado”. Sarah says that “As an artist, I am able to be as curious and bold as I have always wanted to be”.

The way I show enthusiasm is I am enthusiastic when I am with my friends and family. I show it when I am happy and with my niece and twin sister. I love being around with people that I love and know. I use this quality to bring about positive change. If you bring happiness to the world then the world will be a better place. If you make people laugh and smile then everyone will be happy and they will make other people happy.

For my branding I chose two different blue colors, light blue and dark blue. These colors represent me because these are my favorite colors. I chose this font because I like it and it is creative and mexican like. The Rye font looks like the day of the dead. The day of the dead is a celebration for all the people that have passed away and I am enthusiastic when celebrating this day.

Enthusiasm is important to me because it makes me feel excited and not sad. With this quality we can change the world and make the world a better place to live. Leaders of social change must have these character traits because they can be excited of what they are doing for the world or their community. This matters because we all have to be enthusiastic and thankful for doing something to help our world.
