Ingenuity is the quality of being clever, original, and dare I say, inventive. George Stranahan is one of those inventive and clever people to run, pioneer, and pay successful businesses, not for money but for joy and happiness. Another person who shows ingenuity is me, I had to fix a huge problem in my life using this quality. Ingenuity helped George Stranahan and me to help make the world a better place with creativity.

George Stranahan used ingenuity to leave his fortune and run successful businesses. “Instead, the colorful Stranahan became an unconventional businessman—a guy who jumps into a venture not so much to make a buck but to have a good time or to promote a social or political cause...he's been an award-winning cattle rancher, a pioneering microbrewery owner, a successful restaurant proprietor, and the man who bankrolled a legendary outdoor magazine.”(Aspen Hall of Fame by Rocky Mountain News). He left his fortune to be a hard worker, proving that no matter how much money you have you can make a successful business. He had to show a lot of ingenuity to create all of those businesses.

Another person who shows ingenuity in their life is me. An example of a time I’ve used ingenuity is when I had to make some money to go to Mexico to visit my dad, who unfortunately can not come to visit me. I was worried I would not be able to go visit my father for another year. I thought and thought through the day but came up with nothing. I got home I sat down and told my family the problem when I realized that my mother was making tamales. I burst out with the word, “TAMALES!” and my mom was all for it, so I sold tamales. That day I got to work, I made order sheets for the sale and the next day I put them up. I still did not make enough money so I said “I guess I will have to sell more tamales.” The same thing happened, so I had to really think. My brother passed by so I convinced him to put the sheets up at his workplace and in one week we had 30 dozen ordered! I had the most amazing time with my father and making the tamales built a better relationship between me and my mother. I kept selling and now I can help my family go to Mexico this summer, too. Now, I can use ingenuity to help solve problem uniquely, and make the world a little more colorful each day.

With ingenuity meaning clever, I had to make the word look cleverly designed. The marble falling into the “I” making it look like a lower case “i” just represents the originality and creativity that the word means. It also feels like there is going to be an elaborate trap in the future. The font is Finger Paint because it reminds me of a quick but clever plan drafted by a kid using finger paint. The color is a dark magenta because this word was used a lot in the past, but now it is rarely heard so the color is sneaky, but still has color to it. The style of the design makes me feel like I am the kid from “Home Alone” who protected his house with his ingenuity.

Ingenuity helped George Stranahan and I by helping make the world a better place. The same ingenuity that makes Apple Watches, TV shows, and even Teslas. This quality also helped the kid from “Home Alone” save his home. Without this quality existing in the world, we would be robots without our special uniqueness. George Stranahan was a very unique man that had to use creativity to solve some big problems in our community. This quality is a descriptive word for inventive people, one of whom happens to be me. This matters because without clever people the world would be boring, sad and gloomy. We wouldn't have people who speak up, we might still be segregated, or part of Great Britain without this quality. This quality can only do good in our crazy world.
