Who I am
Autistic
I know it's something not many people disclose, but being autistic is part of who I am and being diagnosed as an adult has helped me embrace it as part of who I am!
Nonbinary
Again, after determining I don't fit into the gender binary, it's become who I am, and as such, I use They/Them pronouns.
Actor
I've been drawn to the stage ever since I was in elementary school. I've grown more towards stage managing as of late, but my heart will always long for the stage!
Small Business Owner
I have so many hobbies that I decided during the pandemic that I was going to put them to use and open an Etsy store to put my new skills to use!
Dog Lover
I have three dogs, ages 10, 5, and 1. My youngest, a German Shepherd mix, is in the process of training to be my psychiatric service dog!
Creator
This goes along with my small business, but along with creating crafts for the store, I create content by livestreaming my gameplay in various video games! I mainly stream story-driven games, but I also play simulator games like The Sims.

What I know
I have been in school a long time, so what I know from my grade school days is fuzzy. What I do know from that time is schools lack compassion in some way, whether by a teacher or by a student's peers. I also know that not everyone learns the same way or the same speed, including myself, so oftentimes, students adapt rather than seek out accommodations on their own.
What I Have to Learn
There is a lot I need to learn as far as teaching goes. I need to learn my exact teaching style and what accommodations I may need for my autism in order to thrive in a school setting. I also have to learn how to form a solid lesson plan. As an aspiring theatre educator, I also have to learn how to choose plays for a high school audience and how to cast the right actors in the roles I have to cast.
