Hi Megan! I love the backgrounds of your sections, it is very pleasing to the eye. I find it very inspirational that you have known you wanted to teach kindergarten since you were little, it seems to be a common thread among many teachers. I can tell the passion and care that you put into your teaching ideas, and I love the idea of comfort in the classroom, it is so important. Technology is a struggle for me as well, as is asking for help. - Keegan (Kiki) Riggs
I am so glad that you have had help with your health. My family believe that butterflies with broken wings have great purposes. I am so glad that you pulled through. Your story is an inspiration to me and I am sure it will inspire your students. May good health follow you and your future be bright. =Jasmine Johnson
Hey Megan! After reading your "What I know" section, it seems like you already know how to be a great kindergarten teacher! Your younger self should be proud. You seem as though you are a great person to go to when a students needs to talk or even just be heard. Keep creating safe spaces for your students! When they grow up, they will look back and recognize how important that safe space was for them. - Lani
Hi Megan! Your page is very calming and soothing to look through. I am so thankful that you have your health and are able to live your life to the fullest. I too am a huge fan of country music. Your :What I need to Know" section is spot on for what I myself feel I need to learn as well. The great thing about teaching is that we are constantly learning .- Mandy Duff
Hi Megan! I love your page. You seem like you will be a fantastic teacher and will be able to create real connections with your students. I have been to Nashville and it is amazing. I do not like country music much myself so I did not enjoy as much as maybe you would, but the environment is fun and the night life is great. Best wishes - Tanner Johnson.
Hello Megan. Your page is very pleasing to look at, I enjoy the backgrounds and find that they tie in well to the information you talked about. I also feel that I need to learn a great deal about how to utilize new technology in the classroom. I personally do not enjoy the great extent to which technology is becoming intertwined with learning nowadays but I understand that is the future we are headed towards. - Brandon Collins
Hello Megan! I really enjoyed reading your page. I loved the great variety of pictures and backgrounds. I also need to learn how to ask for help. My unreasonable hubris sometimes prevents me from asking for help which is a big character flaw for me. -Youssef Daoud
