But, Finn, how do tests work in here?

On your test, you can use any papers that you want. This includes:

• Previous work

• Multiplication tables

• Your practice test (more about this soon!)

The only exception is that you cannot use other people's papers. You also cannot use calculators (at least on this test).

Some people think that this means they don't need to prepare, and they can just "figure it out on test day." This is a bad idea. Why?

Instead, you should curate your materials and only bring the things that will help you on the test.

One of the best tools you have is your practice test ... if you use it properly. How do you use it properly? Let's look at it and discuss.

Note: the practice test is also part of your test grade. Take it seriously and it will help you on your test, and be free extra points on your grade.
