most quadratic equations have 2 solutions (some have 1 or 0, but there are never more than 2)
the "solutions" to quadratic equations are when y = 0. What does that mean on a graph?
STEP 1: Make sure the right side of the equation is " = 0 "
STEP 2: If there is a GCF, factor it out and get rid of it!
STEP 3: Factor the left side using some method
STEP 4: If either factor is zero, the whole equation will be zero. Set both factors equal to zero and solve both equations.
