What do I need to know today?
Reflections:
When we do reflections, we reflect images across a line called the line of reflection.
When we reflect a figure across a line of reflection, each point of the preimage maps to a point of the image that is the same distance from the line of reflection (but on the other side).
Like translations, reflections are rigid motions. This means the preimage and the image are congruent (same side lengths and angles).
Let's do some examples!
Perform the reflection. Draw the image. Make sure you label the points.
Write a rule to describe the transformation.

Start your work with a neighbor and work on your own when you're ready!
