A "scale factor" is the ratio of corresponding side lengths in two similar figures.
Let's do some examples!
Determining if two figures are similar:
Determine corresponding angles are congruent.
Determine that corresponding sides are all proportional (have the same scale factor)
These figures are similar. What is the scale factor?
