Dear Vanderhoof families- Last week was a busy week of celebrations! Our teachers were showered with love, sweet letters, flowers, coffee and a yummy lunch! Thank you to our PTA and Student Government for organizing this week and making our teachers feel so special. We also celebrated student learning by having students choose work that they are proud of from this year and share with their study buddies. Students will also be sharing their learning with you this weekend, look for information from your child’s teacher.
We are looking forward to continuing our end of year celebrations in the next two weeks. Our Band and Orchestra will share their amazing musical talents during their concert at school on May 16th. The Trimester 3 Awards ceremony will be on May 21st. If your student is receiving an award your teacher will send home more information.
We look forward to seeing everyone on May 22nd for our Community Night and 5th grade kickball event.
I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and Happy Mother’s day!
