Dear Vanderhoof Families-
Thanks for supporitng the book fair and attending conferences this past week. We hope everyone had a nice fall break. As we approach Halloween, we want to ensure that all students can enjoy the fun and creativity of dressing up while being respectful of others. We kindly ask that you help your child choose a costume that is not only fun but also culturally appropriate and inoffensive to others. (Please see guidelines below). We look foward to seeing you all on Monday Oct. 21, 2024.

🪥Introducing the Vanderhoof Care Closet🪥
We have seen a growing need in our school for a care closet, and we need your help!! A caring closet is a room at Vanderhoof filled with new and gently used clothing and hygiene items for students who need them. These students will be able to visit this closet when needed with a teacher at the school in a discrete manner. We would love donations of very GENTLY used clothing items (if you wouldn’t wear them please don’t send them to the care closet). Or new donations of undergarments, socks, or hygiene items such as soap, brushes, toothbrushes, etc.) Please bring donations to the school. If you are interested in helping with the closet, please reach out to elizabeth.cockerill@gmail.com.
