Dear Vanderhoof Families- It was wonderful to see so many familiar Vanderhoof faces at the Harvest Parade this past Saturday—I truly love this event and the joy it brings to our community! A big thank you as well to all the families who attended our PTA kick-off meeting last week. We appreciate your support and encourage everyone to join us for meetings throughout the year and get involved here at school. Volunteers are always needed for PTA events and classroom support, and teachers will be sending out more information soon regarding classroom volunteer opportunities.
Don’t forget—Vanderfest is this week! Be sure to purchase your wristbands in advance to receive the discounted price. This tradition is such a fun event and a great way for families to connect.
We are excited to share that our school’s State Performance Framework grew by 7 points in just one year—a tremendous celebration of the hard work of our students, staff, and families! This growth brings us back to where we were before the pandemic, and we are so proud of the progress.
As we look ahead, we’re committed to continuing this momentum through our targeted intervention work and the new WIN (What I Need) time that we have insitituted into our daily schedule. WIN is designed to support every student. Thank you for being such an important part of our school community—we couldn’t do it without you!
