Dear Vanderhoof families-
Thank you to all our students who participated in the Science Fair. It was so fun to see the final results of all the hard work they put into their experiments these past few weeks. I would also like to thank all the volunteers who helped make the Science Fair such a success, we couldn’t have done it without all of you!
We finished up CMAS assessments this past week for grades 4-5. Students who were absent will complete make-ups this week. Please be on the lookout in your teachers newsletter for a sign-up for our end of the year assessment day on Friday, May 3rd. Grades K-3 will be taking the DIBELs assessment that we give three times a year and grades 4 and 5 will begin taking the Spring MAP (Measures of Academic Success assessment).
Remember that this Friday, 4/26 is a district staff development day and no school for students.

🤝 PTA MEETING RECAP 🏫
Thanks to those who joined us at the PTA meeting last Thursday. As always, we had a great time finalizing plans for Teacher Appreciation Week and Spring Community Night, as well as selecting new playground accessories and basketball hoops with the funds we received from our wildly successful Read-A-Thon.
🧪 CONGRATS TO OUR SCIENTISTS 🔬
A round of applause goes to… all our participants and finalists for this year’s Science Fair! The best part of the day wasn’t just seeing the creative projects, but watching the kids beam with excitement when they shared their findings! A job well done to our amazing organizer, Cody Cooper, all our judges and those who donated baked goods. Thank you!
