Dear Vanderfhoof Families-
Wow we leapt right into March! Big shout out to all our Tri 2 SOAR award recipients. The awards ceremony on Friday was wonderful and always makes me proud to see our community of learners shine. Report cards were sent home on Friday, if you have any questions please don't hesitate to reach out to your child's teacher.
Thank to all our volunteers that came out and read to our classes on Thursday to celebrate Read Across America day. Students were excited to welcome all of our guests and celebrate reading. It also helped kick off our Spring fundraiser. Our Read-a-thon is this week and we can't wait to encourage students to read and help raise money for our school. The funds being raised this year will go to purchasing a new sounds system in the gym and some new radios for our staff. Our student government planned spirit week to help celebrate the Read-a-thon see information below.
Safety reminder- Please help keep our community safe by using the parking lot, that way the bus lanes are free for busses and always using the crosswalk. If you are in the hug and go lane remember to pull forward and to not leave your car unattended. Park in the lot if you want to walk your student to the door.
