Dear Vanderhoof Families- It was wonderful to see so many families having fun at the Arvada Harvest Festival. Vanderfest is Friday! This is our annual PTA sponsored community event. There will be two food trucks .carnival games, bounce houses, magician, cake walk, air brush tattoos, Bliss Fro-Yo, a craft, and more! We are so excited to spend time together as a community.

Thank you to all the families who attended our first PTA meeting of the year! We had an overview of the PTA and then a meet-and-greet. We had many great conversations and the board left with some great ideas for upcoming meetings.

🎪 Vanderfest - September 13th 🎪
One of our favorite Vanderhoof traditions is right around the corner - VANDERFEST!! Click here to purchase your wristband(s): PTA Store. Pre-purchase online for $12 until 9/12 or pay $15 at the door. Wristbands are required for all school aged children and include access to carnival games, bounce houses, magician, air brush tattoos, Bliss Fro-Yo, a craft, and more! We will also have two food trucks on-site (for individual purchase): Downtown Tenders and Super Smash Burgers. We will also have Bliss Fro-Yo cups for purchase (you can pre-order when you purchase your wristband!)
We need volunteers! Sign up here to help us make Vanderfest successful! By signing up for a quick shift, our community will come together to make this event memorable and fun.
💫 Vanderhoof Wish List 💫
Looking for ways to help the Vanderhoof community? Check out the Vanderhoof Wish List! This is a dynamic list of items and/or people power that are needed at Vanderhoof. Some wishes you will find on the list today include a bilingual adult who can facilitate a student group that includes non-English speaking students and English speaking students, a play kitchen, and a generator to be used at Vanderfest to keep those bounce castle dreams inflated.

🔈September 19 PTA Meeting: Speaker Series 🔈
The upcoming PTA meeting will be the first in our new Speaker Series! Kara Schroeder will present on Social Emotional Learning (SEL) at Vanderhoof. The SEL team interacts with every Roadrunner, helping them t0 learn self-awareness, self-management, and responsible decision making. Come learn more about the Zones of Regulation, emotional regulation, and how to implement these principles in your home. Mark your calendar: September 19 @ 5:00 PM, Vanderhoof Library
