Dear Vanderhoof Families-
Thank you for participating in the PTA sponsored Read-a -thon for our Spring fundraiser this year. Sunday, March 9th is the last day to register and log reading minutes. This fundraiser is so great, it helps raise funds for our school while also promoting the love of reading.
Shout out to our Music teachers Ms. Sbarra, Mr. Palomino and our 5th graders who had a great musical last week! Also, thank you to all our families that participated in PTA's Heartfelt Stock up- your contributions filled our staffs hearts and we appreaciate everything.

📖 Camp Vanderhoof Read-A-Thon ⛺
You have until 11:59 p.m. tonight (3/9/25) to register and log the minutes that your student read from March 3 to March 9th. Stay tuned for our final fundraising total and the prize winners.
🌯 Do Good With Chipotle on March 11 🌯
Make meal planning easy this week. Join us at Chipotle (64th and Ward) this Tuesday, March 11, from 4 to 8 p.m. for a PTA fundraiser. Order online* using code 4TCVP8X or show the flyer at the store to support our school.
*For online orders to count towards the fundraiser, they must be placed for pickup only from the restaurant location during the fundraiser hours. Delivery orders and gift cards do not qualify.
📚Final Week for Early Price on Yearbooks 📚
Order your 2024-25 Vanderhoof yearbook before March 15th for the early rate of $20 per book! Prices will increase to $25 after the pre-sale. The final day to order is April 18th. TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK is the first week of May, and we need ideas and extra hands to make it memorable. Email us your ideas, or let us know if you want to help with any activities.

Vanderhoof Talent Show
Vanderhoof Talent Show
It is time for the "Vanderhoof Has Talent" Variety Show! This is a non-competitive program where a student or group of students can perform their talent. The purpose is to give students a chance to show a different side of themselves. Unfortunately, due to time constraints, we will have to limit our show to 20 acts. The show will be held on Thursday, May 1st at 5:00 PM.
Talent show audition videos need to be sent via email to vanderhooftalent@gmail.com no later than Thursday, April 10.
This year student permission forms must be submitted online by filling out this Google form below. ALL online permission forms must be submitted by Friday, March 28h if your child would like to try out.

A Day Without Hate is a student-led, grassroots organization that promotes nonviolence, respect, and unity within our schools. This year, A Day Without Hate is April, 24th. Orders must be placed by March 14th, ordering details can be found here .
