Dear Vanderhoof families-
Kinders have begun their “alphabet countdown” of the days left in this school year and they get so excited to share each day what letter they are on. 5th graders had an amazing performance at the West Valley Area Elementary Instrumental Concert on Wednesday evening, we look forward to their final school performance at Vanderhoof on May 16th. Thursday was a great day filled with acts of kindness and opportunities to fill each other’s buckets. Day Without Hate is a wonderful day that allows us to lift up and recognize, more than usual, the importance of being kind and tolerant of others, and our students are all so caring and love to make others feel good. It was a sweet day for sure.
Don’t forget Friday, May 3rd. we have an assessment day, teacher sign ups have been sent out. Check with teachers if you have questions. We will continue that love and celebration May 6th -10th as we celebrate our teachers! If you have time to send an email or a sweet note to your child’s teacher it would mean the world to them.
Thank you and have a wonderful week.
