Dear Vanderhoof families- 2024- 2025 school year is going to be a great year, we are off to a wonderful start. We are thrilled to have started this journey together and can’t wait to see the growth, learning, and fun that’s in store for our students this year. As a mom I had a lot of emotions this year as I took my youngest up to college on Tuesday. It was bittersweet and I'm sure like all of you I took a moment to hug a little longer, take pictures and whisper a tiny wish out to the universe, to have the world take care of my baby. I’m constantly reminded of how grateful we all are for the trust you have in us with your children, we truly have such an incredible job and we love your kiddos. Thanks for helping us all start this year off on the right foot.
Please review the assessement schedule for our assessment days Friday August 23rd and Monday August 26th. Students only come on their assigned day and time. Big Shout out to Charles Huntsman and PTA for the special staff t-shirts this year. You are all amazing.

You're invited to a special meet-up at the Vanderhoof Elementary playground this Saturday, August 17, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. This gathering is a great chance for children to make new friends before the school year begins and for parents to connect with one another.

Mental Health Resources-Strengthening our Jeffco Community through Mental Health and Wellness: Student Services is introducing an on-going mental health and wellness focus that will be added to the Mental Health and Wellness Hub. Our mental health and wellness hub and the School Toolkit .
Community Resources and Assistance Website: food assistance, layoff support, unemployment assistance, work opportunities, housing, mental wellness support, childcare access, assistance for populations including pregnant women, children, and aging adults, and more.
