Dear Vanderhoof Families-
It has been a wonderful week back after spring break. Students have transitioned back well and are busy learning! I want to give a huge shout out to PTA for organizing our school fundraiser and providing the Limo to lunch on friday. Students were so excited to be a part of this celebration. Thank you again to all the families that participated in the Read-a-Thon this year. I also want to give a shout out to our 5th grade team and their SOARing behaviors on Friday during two presentations, one from our School Resource Officer and the other from Drake Middle School. Our 5th graders are getting ready for middle school and we are so proud of them.
Please read the attached Principal Message . Thank you for your continued support in fostering a inclusive community.
We are excited to embrace the spring and continue to watch your children grow these final months of school!

🎉 TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK 🎉
TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK is the first week of May and PTA has big plans to spoil them with blasts from the past! Do you have a skill or idea to offer? Baking? Cricut? Massage? Email us to help with planning! If you are planning your own gift or gesture, we are collecting information about our teachers and will be sharing lists of their favorite things.
📸YEARBOOK INFO 📸
Remember to email or upload to Drive those candids from the classroom Valentine’s Day parties or any pictures from the school year! If you’re uploading to Drive, just find the correct grade level folder and drop your pics in. It’s that easy! We’re grateful for your help with capturing these special moments for our kiddos!
