Dear Vanderhoof Families-
It was wonderful to see so many of you at Parent-Teacher Conferences this past week. Thank you for making the time to connect with your child's teacher and support their learning journey!
A special thank you to all the families who contributed to our meal for the staff on Wednesday evening—the soups, salads, and desserts were absolutely amazing and truly a treat for our teachers!
Just a reminder that the Book Fair will continue through Wednesday, October 15th, if you still wish to purchase books for your student. Picture Retakes are on Oct. 29th.
As you begin to prepare for Halloween, please remember to review the costume guidelines can be found below.
Finally, we recognize that times are tough right now for many families. If you are in need of support with clothing, food, or transportation, please do not hesitate to reach out directly to Mrs. Schroeder, Kara.Watts-Schroeder@jeffco.k12.co.us or Mrs. Switzer, Rachel.Switzer@jeffco.k12.co.us. All inquiries are confidential.
We also want to share a fantastic community resource: The Community Table. They have a new facility and offer a wide range of supports, including food, laundry, showers, and various job-related services. You can learn more about their resources here: https://cotable.org/
Thank you again for your continued partnership.
