Dear Vanderhoof Families-Bring on the sunshine ! I'm ready for the warmer temperatures and can't wait for the first blooms of spring. Shout out to our 5th grade band and orchestra students for performing solo's last week and to our Kinder and 1st. graders for being SOARing Roadrunners at the Arvada Center. We are excited for our Read-a-thon fundraiser that is starting on March 3rd. PTA is sponsoring this wonderful event that encourages reading and raising money for our school.
To get students excited about the Read-a-thon and to celebrate Read Across America Day, we are encouraging students to dress up as their favorite book character or author on Monday, March 3rd. We have invited community members and staff members to join us in reading aloud and celebrating the joys of reading.
**Please take some time to visit the lost and found- it is overflowing with missing items.
