🔬 Science Fair 🧪

We are excited to have our socks metaphorically blown off by the awesome experiments the students have planned for the upcoming Science Fair! 

There is one more Science Fair Prep Workshop on Monday, April 7th, at 3:15 p.m. in the Library. Stop by to learn how to plan, conduct, and evaluate an experiment. (Yes, you will complete an experiment!) Grown-ups are welcome to attend with their students.

Do you consider yourself to be a bit of a science whiz? Do you like the thrill of a good hypothesis? Does a neatly organized tri-fold poster board give you the chills? You should be a Science Fair judge! Sign up using the information link above. 

Do you like to experiment in the kitchen? Have you discovered the perfectly balanced sparkling water? We need your skill set to help feed our judges! Sign up to bring snacks for the judges.

• Our teachers always go the extra mile, so we are planning a road trip-themed TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK (May 5-9). Email us your ideas or reach out to help with one of the activities. Some ideas include: “snack across America” charcuterie board, a “fueling station” snack/coffee cart, postcards of appreciation, and “pack your bag” goodie bags. 

• What is one of the best events of the year? VANDERFEST!! Reach out if you would like to join the 2025 Vanderfest Planning Committee. 

• Say Cheese! K.I.T. Never Change. The 2025-26 Yearbook Committee is looking for new members. If you like to work behind the scenes, this is the committee for you. 

• Join the PTA Board - it’s fun, I promise! We are looking for a co-secretary to help with meeting minutes and communication. The time commitment is minimal, but your impact on the Vanderhoof community is immense.
