INTENT
In Year 11, the curriculum builds on previous learning by examining the British Constitution and where power resides within the UK. Pupils compare governance structures in other countries and critically reflect on whether the UK functions as a true democracy. The year culminates with an exploration of various forms of political involvement, encouraging Learners to consider their own roles as active citizens beyond school.
