Good Morning! Today is D-Day and we have Music. I hope you are doing well. I miss you all very much. Yesterday I took my kids outside to play. We rode bikes and scooters up and down the block! Are you looking forward to virtual field day?

Below is your work for the day.

Reading-

First, log onto Pearson Realize and read the assigned leveled reader Marla's Good Idea. Either read or listen to the story. Then complete the worksheet.

Next, log onto EPIC and read aloud a book for 10 minutes. (Optional)

Last, listen to Stephanie’s Ponytail by Robert Munsch. After listening students must sequence the story details. Cut out the story details and put them in order from beginning to end. (If you child wants he/she can create the attached project as it is good practice for his/her fine motor skills.)

Writing- After listening to Stephanie’s Ponytail students will write a text to self connection. Students should restate the question and give an example in a few complete sentences.

Phonics- cut out the words and prefixes. Use the prefixes to create real words. Then sort the words under re and us correctly.

Word Wall- Play word wall tic tac toe with a grown up using this week's words. (Play 2 or 3 times)

Math--Log into pearsonsuccessnet.com to complete the math assignment.Do lesson 20 lesson 3. Please watch the video, do the guided practice and take the quiz. Don’t skip any of the parts! Do the workbook page along with lesson 20-3.

Social Studies-

First log onto Social Studies site and read Topic 7- Learning about the Past and read Topic 8 Your Life. Watch the timeline video. Make a timeline with an adult, like you saw in the video. Just draw or write a simple sentence for a few big moments you and your family can remember. (Timeline is optional)
