Good Morning! Today is B-Day and we have Spanish. How was your weekend? We had some crazy weather on Saturday! Did you see the snow? I hope you enjoyed celebrating Mother's Day with your family. Did you do something special for mom? Thank you for all the wonderfully thoughtful pictures, videos and writing you sent me last week for Teacher Appreciation week. I am so lucky to have such terrific students. We will Zoom today at 11:00. I can't wait to see you. Below is your work for the day.

Reading-
First, watch Envision it: Author's Purpose (It is really about comparing and contrasting) on Pearson Realize.
Next, complete Reader’s and Writer’s notebook page 539 (compare and contrast )
Last, listen to Corduroy read aloud.
Writing- ( Two day assignment) After listening to Corduroy complete the two character webs for Corduroy and Lisa.Write down character traits to describe each character. Then fill in the Story Elements page. In events, be sure to write First, Next, and Last.Give three events that happened throughout the story. If you run out of room, you can always write on the back. Be sure to write complete sentences.
Phonics
First, listen to me go over the different ways oo can sound. (oo can say oo as in spoon or oo as in book. )
