Good morning friends! Today is D-Day and we have Music. Mrs. Crowe's friends have a Zoom meeting with her at 10:00! I hope her friends can make it! Did you check out our new Flipgrid website yesterday? Did you make a welcome video for our class? I posted another assignment where I asked you to take a video of your restaurant menus. Phonics

First, complete /ow/ worksheet.




Next, Read /ow/ words and sentences. Glue in your red reading journal. Then highlight the /ow/ in the sentences.


Last, log onto IXL and complete vowel team activity (O-3)


Reading/Wring

First, listen to the story, Froggy Eats Out.


Then, read aloud EPIC the book- Meet My Neighbor, The Restaurant Owner. After reading, tell a grown up about a few of Williams’s jobs at the restaurant.


Next, using the restaurant menu created you created, pick an award winning dish that your restaurant would serve. Tell me on the page to the left what makes your dish so delicious. Tell me what the ingredients are and use adjectives to “SPICE” up your writing!


Last, log onto IXL and complete the teacher suggested activities about adjectives. (LL-3)


Math- Log into pearsonsuccessnet.com to complete the math assignment. Complete lesson 18.3. Please watch the video, do the guided practice and take the quiz. Don’t skip any of the parts! Complete the workbook page that goes with 18.3

Spelling- write 5 of your spelling words in sentences. Sprinkle in some adjectives to make it descriptive!

Social Studies -

First. read Holidays Through Time in Social Studies Magazine.

Next, watch this video. (It isn’t about Holidays through Time but a cool look at Women in History working for the Air Force.)
