Good morning and happy Friday! Today is A-Day and we have gym! I am looking forward to having a nice weekend. I can't wait to get outside in the sunshine! What are your plans for the weekend? Below is your work for today.

Parents please screenshot and send me the following:

Phonics

First, complete the worksheet.

Last, write 10 or more ow/ou words on index cards (Use the red journal to get words from) and hide them around the house. Allow students to find them and read them to you.

Reading-

First, Listen to Dinner at the Panda Place (goes with our Restaurant theme)

Then, answer the following questions about the story ORALLY.


  1. Why did the pigs need to hide in the restaurant ?

  2. Where were the hyenas before they came to the restaurant?

  3. Tell me some of the characters we met in the story?

  4. Who was the last customer to come to the restaurant?

  5. Describe Mr. Panda’s character?

  6. Which animal would you like to come to your restaurant?

Last, work on your Jake Surfer of the Week Keep book. Read it once to an adult, then read it once to yourself. Continue to illustrate the pages 4,5 and 6.

Math- Log into pearsonsuccessnet.com to complete the math assignment. Complete lesson 18.5. Please watch the video, do the guided practice and take the quiz. Don’t skip any of the parts! Complete the workbook page that goes with 18.5. Do IXL assigned activity (O-4)

First, log onto our Social Studies website and open- Holiday Reading Skill Lesson: Recall and Retell

Read/follow directions on the pages. Complete retell ORALLY.

Last log onto EPIC! and read aloud American Holidays: Labor Day
