Mackenzie and I made a sign thanking health care workers as a school project! I think it came out cool!

Good morning! Today is E-Day and we have Art. Visit Mrs. Fromkin's page to see your assignment for the day! I love all the Flipgrid videos you have been sending me. I have added a tab at the top of the page, next to the home button, so it's easy to access and watch videos of your friends.

Below is your work for the day.

First, complete /ou/ worksheet.

Next, Read /ou/ words and sentences. Glue in your red reading journal. Then highlight the /ou/ in the sentences.


Last, using the list of /ou/ words ask your child to write 10 of them focusing on the sound in each word.

Reading-

First, listen to Dragons Love Tacos (goes along with our Restaurant theme)

Then, answer the following questions in writing using complete sentences.

  1. What do dragons hate? Why?

  2. What do dragons love, besides tacos?

  3. At the end of the story, why shouldn’t the dragon eat the tacos?

Star Student Keep Book -Read aloud Jake's Surfer of the Week Keep Book. Cut and assemble it as you have previously done. Then begin to page 1,2, and 3.


Last ,read a book of your choice for 10 minutes and write it on your reading log.


Writing- restaurant selfies! Draw a picture of a selfie you would have taken at two of your favorite restaurants . Then describe in complete sentences what is happening in the selfies.

Spelling- Use your last 5 spelling words in sentences. Sprinkle in some adjectives to make it descriptive!

Math- Log into pearsonsuccessnet.com to complete the math assignment. Complete lesson 18.4. Please watch the video, do the guided practice and take the quiz. Don’t skip any of the parts! Complete the workbook page that goes with 18.4. Log on to IXL and complete teacher suggested activities (M-3)

Social Studies -

First, log onto our Social Studies website. Read Read Flag Day and Constitution in our SS magazine.

Next, log onto EPIC! and listen to/sing You're a Grand Old Flag. It will be assigned to you.

Last, watch the video called The Rules of Our Land.
