Good Morning! Today is E-Day and we have Art. Honiss school is celebrating School Spirit by wearing crazy socks. Will you be wearing silly socks? Navya left a book review on our Flip Grid! Great job Navya!! Alana and Jordan made fun fact videos! Great job Alana and Jordan. Head over to Flip Grid to check them out! Today we will Zoom at 10:00. Wear your silly socks so you can show them to the class! Below is your work for the day.

First ,glue Antonyms list into your Red Journal. Have a grown up read you the antonym pairs.
Last, Antonyms task cards
There are two ways you can complete this activity.
Print synonym task cards and hang them around the house. Your student can find the task card with a grown up. Students should answer the task cards as you go, taking them down and circling the correct answer. Parents please make sure they are answering correctly.
If you do not want to print the task cards you can simply download the file and complete it online. Please make sure your child is finding the correct synonym.
Reading
First, Listen to Dot and Jabber
Next, talk to an adult and tell them your favorite part in Dot and Jabber.
Then, read aloud Alana Surfer of the Week keep book. Then assemble the keep book. Illustrate pages 1,2, and 3. Practice re-reading for fluency.
Last, log onto EPIC and read a teacher suggested book. If you do not have any teacher suggested book, pick a book of your choice. (You can find your teacher suggested books in your EPIC mailbox!
Writing
First, read page 122 together with your child. Go over what a question is. After reading and reviewing, have your child write down 3 questions on a blank paper they would like to be answered. Make sure sentences start with a capital letter and end with a question mark. Have your child answer one of the question he/she asked. Use page 122-123 for guidance.
Math- play Math game. It will help you review addition and subtraction facts. The directions are inside the google document. Have fun! ( Game modification- Instead of covering each box, please color it in. Ex: Mom colors her boxes blue. Child colors her boxes red. )
Science-
First, log on to NG site- read 27. Young Animals Look like their Parents
Then answer Wrap it up Questions orally after each section
Next, watch the videos below and discuss with an adult how animals look like their parents in the videos.
Last, (Optional) listen to Are You My Mother? Discuss how this relates to today’s science topic
