Good morning friends!! Today is C Day. We have Music. Make sure to visit Mr. Sutera's page to see your assignment. What a yucky day it was yesterday! Did you take a GoNoodle break to dance it out?

Reading- I did an online read aloud with the students. (Click the picture on the left.) Please sit with them while I read aloud. I will be asking questions as we read. Please pause the video and have your child respond to the question. The questions I ask usually are answered on the page I just read. We do this routine in school, so it should be familiar to your child.

Writing- After listening to me read A Trip to Washington DC, complete writing prompt. (The paper is stapled in a pack in your folder.) Write your response on the given paper. If you don’t have it, Respond to: What is one thing you can see in Washington D.C, and why is it special?

Be sure to restate the questions and use evidence from the text in your response.

Last- read a book of your choice and read for 10 minutes. Record it in the Daily Reading Log

Phonics- read the poem Winter Show together. Then students can highlight their long o words spelled ow in the poem. Cut out poem and put them in Purple Poetry journal. Students can illustrate/color picture to go along with the poem.

Math- (Topic 14-6) Log into pearsonsuccessnet.com to complete the math assignment. It is topic 14 lesson 6. Please watch the video, do the guided practice and take the quiz. Don’t skip any of the parts! Do the math workbook page that goes along with 14-6.

Spelling- Pick 5 words and use them in sentences. Make sure you include at least 1 adjective in each sentence

Signs of Spring

Science- View Nature walk google slide and look at the photographs I saw on my nature walk. Take your own nature walk. Take pictures of the signs of spring that you have seen. Ask mom or dad to send me the pictures of the signs of spring you have seen!
