Last, Take a virtual field trip to the San Diego zoo. Explore, read, and watch videos on the animals of your choice in the zoo.

Tell an adult or sibling about some facts about the animal(s) you saw and read about.

Phonics- First, parents please get your child’s Red reading journal and open up the /igh/ /ie/ and/i-e/ words we glued in this week. Let your child read you all the words and sentences one last time. Then pick a long i word and ask your child to write the word. It can be on a mini white board or piece of paper. After your child writes the word check to make sure he/she spelled it correctly. If your child is having a hard time spelling the word, remind him/her to say the word slowly to hear all the sounds in the word. Continue this procedure with at least 10 words (Please don’t use the spelling words, choose different ones from the list)

Then, listen to lesson on the /wr/ and /kn/ sounds.
