Good Morning! Today is E-Day and we have Music. Will you be joining us for our Zoom meeting at 10:00? We will play a game and go over some math! Your work is posted below.

Reading/Writing-

First, log onto Pearson Realize and read Henry and Mudge. Then write the answers to the following questions on paper in complete sentences.

  1. Which would you rather do on Valentine’s day-what Henry did or what his parents did? Explain your thinking.

  2. Describe Mrs.Hopper's house. (Make sure to use the adjectives from the text on page 204)

  3. What does Mrs. Hopper do to make Henry feel comfortable at her house? (Look back to page 209)

  4. Tell me about the costumes Henry and Mudge tried on. (Look back to pages 214-216.)

Next, read aloud the Surfer of the Week keep book. Then assemble the keep book. Illustrate cover, and pages 1,2, and 3. Practice re-reading for fluency.


Last, read a book of your choice for 10 minutes and write it on your reading log.



Phonics-

First complete oo worksheet.

Next, read pages 196 and 197. Focus on the oo words and words with the suffix ly/ful.

Math- Log into pearsonsuccessnet.com to complete the math assignment. Complete lesson 17 lesson 4. Please watch the video, do the guided practice and take the quiz. Don’t skip any of the parts! Complete the workbook page that goes with 17.4 Log on to IXL to complete teacher suggested activities.

Science- The last habitat we will be learning about is freshwater habitats. For example ponds or rivers.
