First, log onto Pearson Realize and watch the video titled Literacy Elements.

Then, complete Reader’s and Writer’s notebook page 507.

Last, listen to me read Tippy Toe Chick Go. Click on the video to the left. Please make sure an adult is working with you so you can stop the video to answer my questions.

First, listen to my video introducing the ow/ow sound.

Then, read aloud page 16 to a grown up.

Next, complete page 519 in your Reader’s and Writer’s notebook.

Poetry (2 days assignment due Wednesday)- Print or copy the poem onto a piece of paper. Then read the poem The Very Loud Mouse. Cut out poem and glue it in the Purple Poetry journal. Students will look for words with the /ow/ and /ou/ sound. Students should highlight words with the ow/ou and illustrate a picture to go along with it. If you finish illustrating, re-read some old poems in your poetry journal.

Word Wall Words- Practice writing your words 3x’s each in the word wall word journal.

Math- Log into pearsonsuccessnet.com to complete the math assignment. Complete lesson 18.1. Please watch the video, do the guided practice and take the quiz. (Don’t skip any of the parts! I can see if you skip parts.) Complete the workbook page that goes with 18.1 Do assigned IXL lesson for 10 minutes!

Writing- (2 day assignment) -Creative Writing and Design. Please print or copy the Restaurant pages located below. Create a name for your restaurant, then decide what your hours, address, and what your website will be. Next, decide what you will be serving. Draw and color the items on your menu and decide how much it will cost. Have fun and be creative. Maybe you can even help your parents one night with dinner and take an idea from your menu! We will be sharing our menu’s to see what everyone made. Have fun!
